This story is so close to Kevin's own business and his expertise that it has that distinct 'ring of truth'.

It is also about debt and its counterparty, credit.

His story of tariffs is the same story of the continued intense concentration and then diversion of collected capital away from productive ends caused by an over-indebted economy, for decades now. Into strange garbled 'economic measures', pointless houses, purposeless travel, endless ill-considered expansions and consumption, waste and environmental destruction. And the endless creation of debts and feeding with the consequent credits of predatory financial mechanisms like the ones Kevin noticed. And the attached politics to lubricate it all, hence 'tariffs' and 'sanctions' and even 'global wars on terror' - in our own streets.

The older society of China evidently sees it all far more clearly than ours can. Ours has chosen MAGA, but it's hard to say what choices China is making in this regard. Is the collective claim any better than the fragmented one?

So the Chump administration is allowing the US public and business to be absolutely milked, which might have had purpose, had it actually be plowed back into developing local US manufacturing, but it isn't, its being plowed into the Fed and Bankers coffers.

The bankers, to please their shareholdersand the FED, for the government to have more money to squander on wars, and propping up failed economies like that of Argentina.
