At one of your "Inside China Business" podcast, you mentioned that Boeing (?) had a year supply of rare earth metals at the start of 2025 (hence, Boeing would have half year supply assuming that there was no replenishment since the start of 2025). Query 1: Is it possible that the other industrial military arms manufacturers would have an amply supply of rare earth metals in place, as well?

My understanding is that in of your last podcasts, you mentioned that only a few American firms were granted rare earths export licenses. Query 2: Are export licenses for refined rare earth metals, finished components that incorporated such metals (e.g., specialized magnets), or both? My understanding is that the smuggling of such rare earth metals or finished products (containing them) have been, in the past, opportunistic via internal and external sources. Query 3: Has the government of China closed off those holes to firm up the export restrictions? The business with what is happening in the Middle East and Ukraine is atrocious - partly due to the ready replenishment of military arms and hardware to sustain intentional armed conflicts abroad.

Washington Post? WSJ? Proven left wing biased. Hardly trustworthy analysis.
